Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hang Mua

In the morning, depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh, located in the fertile Red River Delta and famous for its dramatic limestone karsts rising from emerald rice fields.
Upon arrival, visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, where you will explore the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, founders of Vietnam’s first centralized state in the 10th century.
Transfer to your hotel for check-in, followed by lunch at a local restaurant featuring Ninh Binh specialties.
In the afternoon, continue to Tam Coc. Board a traditional sampan boat for a relaxing journey along winding waterways, passing through three natural limestone caves, rice paddies, and peaceful countryside scenery—often compared to Ha Long Bay.
Next, visit Hang Mua, one of Ninh Binh’s most spectacular viewpoints. Climb the stone steps to the mountain summit and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside.
